Zegari was founded in 2004 by Veronica Barrio and Alex Chaniotis after leaving behind their corporate jobs with a desire to pursue a more creative path.
They embarked on a "design tour" through the major design centric cities in Europe and finally settled into an apartment in the center of Florence, Italy, to work on their designs and ideas for a luxury line of functional laptop bags.
What resulted was a line of Italian inspired luxury laptop cases with an uncompromising blend of fashion and function.
The laptop cases reflect Zegari's design philosophy of creating simple, clean design with attention to detail and constructed with an eye-catching blend of leather and other rich, innovative materials.
And like their bags, Barrio and Chaniotis are multi-national
and well-traveled, holding 5 distinct passports between the
two of them and having lived in Italy, Germany, Greece, Mexico,
and Central America. The couple has now relocated their primary
residence to Austin, Texas, and continue to use travel as an
inspiration for their design.
